History

  • Codimag was founded by Mr. Tison, Mr. Demol and Mr. Eveilleau with the aim of producing a variable format press for the business form market that does not require cylinder change.
  • The first Codimag machine, the CODA, was presented at the DRUPA exhibition in 1982.
  • Anticipating the development of the adhesive label market, Codimag developed a special offer in this field.
  • The VIVA 300 typography machine was the first Codimag machine developed specifically for the adhesive label market. VIVA, which stands for Speed and Versatility, has become the motto of Codimag technology.
  • Codimag introduced its offset machines to the adhesive label market, adopting waterless offset technology that provides superior print quality and ink stability. This product has been the foundation of Codimag's commercial success.
  • Codimag is expanding in many regions such as Europe, Russia, Australia, South Africa, Brazil and Canada, complementing its offer with new online finishing options such as hot foil stamping and rotary screen printing.
  • Codimag introduced the revolutionary Aniflo technology and made its Viva machines fully servo-controlled in 340 and 420 mm widths.
  • In 2015, Codimag expanded into new markets (China, Argentina, Chile) by presenting its new products at Labelexpo Europe.
  • Codimag celebrated its 40th anniversary with the slogan ‘Let's Print the Future Together’.
  • In 2019, Codimag presented the new Viva 420 machine at LabelExpo in Brussels, offering high productivity. This machine offers a performance of up to 85 m/min, which is excellent even on the most delicate materials (film, cartons, etc.).
